MP: This is a great scheme for small grants of £500
John Baron MP would like to encourage people in Basildon & Billericay to apply for the Speaker’s Art Fund ‘Democracy For All’ grant of £500.
The grant is for art and education projects which improve the understanding of democracy such as: Heritage projects, including working with local libraries and archives; Filmmaking and film screening; Digital art; Cultural events and festivals; and creative writing. The project must have Parliament at its heart and should bring local people together. The application needs to be returned by the 24th August.
John said:
“If residents wish to benefit from these grants, then please do apply. They are not taxpayer-funded and support a range of small projects. It would be wonderful if a project from Basildon & Billericay were successful.”
