MP encourages the school community to make submissions
John Baron MP, has today encouraged residents and those in the school community to respond to a consultation being run by Essex County Council on the proposed amalgamation of Sunnymede Infant School and Sunnymede Junior School. There will be drop in public meetings, where officers from Essex County Council will be available to talk about the proposed amalgamation and answer questions on Wednesday 5 October 2022, at 2:30pm in the infant school, and at 6pm in the junior school. The consultation will run until 5pm on Thursday 27 October 2022.
John said:
“It is important for parents and the wider school community to have a say in these proposals. I would therefore encourage them to attend the public meetings and submit their views to the consultation.”

Parents/ carers and other interested persons are invited to attend a public meeting (no appointment necessary), where officers from Essex County Council will be available to talk about the proposed amalgamation and answer questions. Two sessions will be held on Wednesday 5 October 2022, at 2:30pm in the infant school, Mons Avenue, Billericay, Essex, CM11 2HQ and at 6pm in the junior school, The Meadoway, Billericay, Essex, CM11 2HL. Those wishing to attend may come along at whichever time is most convenient to them.
