MP: Tours the newly refurbished and meets the Team
John Baron MP recently met with the management and team at the newly refurbished Basildon The Loft bar, in Southernhay, Basildon Town Centre. John spoke with the General Manager Sarah Gage and Area Manager Stephen McMahon, and was shown the improvements that have been made to the venue. The team also informed John of how the investment into the business has proved their commitment to the community and how the pub contributes to the livelihood of a number of John’s constituents who work full and part time at the Loft.
John said:
“It was good to meet the team at The Loft and see the investment that had been committed. I was impressed with the fact that while the owners want everyone to enjoy themselves, there is also a sense of commitment to the community that people behave responsibly. To this end, we are co-operating in trying to introduce one or two further initiatives. We promised to keep in touch.”
