MP meets team
John Baron visited Metro Bank in Basildon Town Centre at the invitation of the Local Director, Steve Ackroyd, to discuss the bank’s role in the Community. The bank employs 19 staff and includes a Local Business Manager who specifically helps and supports businesses. The bank also has local schools and clubs involved with their Money Zone financial education program and are actively involved with the Basildon Business Group, and are about to relaunch their monthly networking events. The bank plays an important role in the community and John was introduced to the team.
John said,
“It was good to visit the branch and meet Steve and the team. The bank’s commitment to the community is commendable, as is its position as the highest-rated high street bank for overall service according to a recent survey. I look forward to keeping in touch.”
Steve said,
“It was great to meet John and talk about what makes our bank so unique. John is very knowledgeable about our community and we hope that in the future we can continue to build our relationship and work together to support local residents and businesses in any way we can.”
