MP: Government recruiting record numbers of doctors and nurses
The Government has announced that patients will be able to choose where they are treated via the NHS app or website, giving them greater control over their own care and helping to cut waiting lists.
John said,
“Cutting waiting lists is one of the Government’s top five priorities. As part of this plan, patients will now be able to choose which hospital they are treated at via the NHS app or website, increasing the information they have about waiting times and quality of care when they do so.”
“This could help significantly reduce waiting times, which I know from my mailbag that constituents would appreciate, and sits alongside the Government recruiting record numbers of doctors and nurses as well as putting in record levels of investment into the NHS.”
