MP: checks in with the team at the Community Hub, Billericay High Street
At the invitation of Chairman, Phil Norton, John Baron MP recently visited the Billericay Hub, High Street to see the help offered by volunteers. John was given a tour of the facilities and spoke with those working at the Foodbank and the team at the charity Baby Basics - both of which have been set up to help the local community.
John said:
"This was a very uplifting visit to meet so many people making a difference in these difficult times, and I thank and congratulate Phil and his team of volunteers for their help in making this valuable resource available to the local community. We have promised to keep in touch and together are looking at other initiatives.”
Phil Norton said:
“Great to Welcome John Baron our local MP to our Community Hub in Billericay High Street. He was very interested in all our projects and a real encouragement to all of us”
