MP: Basildon Council to receive £1,860,357 from Government
The latest Brownfield Land Release Fund 2 funding allocations have been announced, awarding a total of over £60 million to 60 local authorities across England. Coupled with the earlier funding allocations, the Fund is supporting at least 89 local authorities and providing almost £100 million to support the release of land for almost 8,600 homes.
John said,
“I welcome Basildon Council’s funding allocation under the Brownfield Land Release Fund. This will help unlock and accelerate the release of local authority-owned brownfield land by supporting land remediation and small-scale infrastructure work to make surplus local authority owned brownfield sites ready for housing. I look forward to this funding making its mark in our area.”
